Melody Hames, ‘The Horse Barber’ is based in the North West of England. She works around the country doing both traditional and creative grooming, as well as confidence building for the most nervous of horses, meeting the demands of the vast breed collection that England has. Featured in national and international publications & media, Melody has been clipping horses since the age of 9. She caters for all disciplines from hacks to hunters, as well as competition horses, show horses and maintenance clips for health conditions. She has a strong knowledge of horsemanship and horse breeds and applies this to cater to the needs of every individual horse. Melody envisions a happy-horse happy-people motto with horses and owners are working in sync. She also offers tailored tuition for owners who want to learn to clip for themselves, as a long term solution when it comes to clipping. This is available via one-to-one sessions and can also be booked for features and demonstrations at events nationally and internationally.
